FLICKFLEET
Two small fleets of rounded starships, one glowing cyan and one magenta, skid across a ring of asteroid dust above an orange gas giant, each leaving a long curved trail.

Admiralty of the Drift · Ring of Ossa

Your finger
is the engine.

The ships out here have no engines worth mentioning. Every battle on the Ring is fought the old way: the flagship slings you, you slide, and somebody goes over the edge. Pull back. Aim. Let go.

Standing orders · Fleet Admiral

  1. One flick per turn. Pull back from any ship you command and release. Longer pull, harder launch.
  2. The Ring has an edge. Anything that slides past the rim is lost to the drift. Push them off. Don't follow them.
  3. Rocks don't move. The asteroids bolted into the ring are bumpers. Bank shots are legal and admired.
  4. Then they flick back. The Vespine Armada takes its turn when everything stops sliding. They're not subtle.

An admiral's war room table glowing with a holographic star chart, brass starship miniatures in two formations, an enamel coffee mug, brass calipers and a cat asleep on the edge.

A tactics game you play with one finger

Flick Fleet is chess with momentum. Every ship has mass, a hull and a quirk. Rams shove, Lanterns light up mines, Tenders refuel whoever they bump. You plan, you flick, and physics settles the argument.
